AIPP is a membership established to, in a sense, govern, regulate and maintain a high professional level within the property industry.  It ensures that companies in the property industry act in a professional manner.  Once a company voluntary joins the AIPP they must abide by a strict code of conduct.  If it is alleged that the company has not met the contractual agreement, AIPP will hold a disciplinary hearing to investigate and adjudicate the alleged breaches of the AIPP code of conduct. All parties involved will have the chance to put their case forward.  It is then determined by the disciplinary panel if any breaches occurred, and if so, amount of compensation due to the complainant and penalties to the AIPP member.
