ASSOCIATION OF INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY PROFESSIONALS (ΑΙPP)
On 14th October 2009, Mr Giovannis Kouzali founder of A&G kouzalis Law Office , home to some of the best and most respected Cyprus lawyers, chaired three AIPP Disciplinary hearings along with two other governing members. The hearings took place consecutively by conference call. Mr Kouzali became a governing member of the AIPP (ASSOCIATION OF INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY PROFESSIONALS) in order to provide a safer more professional procedure for clients buying property in Cyprus.
AIPP is a membership established to maintain a high professional level of service within the property industry. For a property company to join this membership they must be vetted and approved by the AIPP and they will be bound by the AIPP code of conduct. Therefore, if any breaches occur the complainant and the respondent will be heard in an AIPP Disciplinary Hearing.  The disciplinary panel will determine if the evidence proves breach of AIPP code of conduct. If so, the disciplinary panel will then decide the amount of compensation to be awarded to the complainant and the suitable penalty to the respondent.
A&G Kouzali Law Office is one of the largest and most highly professional lawyers in Famagusta, Cyprus. We believe AIPP is the way to go for the future of the property industry and an inexpensive way to settle disputes should they arise.
We take great effort in keeping people informed and educated on all levels and subjects . For more information on AIPP or other information and services please visit the A&G Kouzali Law Office website: : www.lawcyprus.org  PUBLISHED BY A&G KOUZALI LAW OFFICE on 20th October 2009.
Association of International Property Professionals (AIPP)
On 14th October 2009, Giovannis Kouzalis along side two other members of the AIPP tribunal board chaired three disciplinary hearings. The hearings were held consecutively between 11am and 6pm local time by conference call.
The purpose of the hearings is to hear the grievances and complaints of customers of AIPP members. All parties involved (i.e. the complainant and the AIPP member) have a right to voice their opinions and give their explanations during the hearing.
It is then the role of the Disciplinary Panel to determine if the AIPP member has breached the AIPP Code of Conduct and if so determine the action AIPP will take and the penalty to be imposed on the AIPP Member. Sentences served by the disciplinary panel upon AIPP members vary and they can impose a range of penalties depending upon the severity of the case and the outcome.
The penalties include:
- Reprimand
- Fine
- Suspension
- Expulsion
We believe the AIPP Tribunals are a great way to solve client issues without resulting in expensive court cases.
We also believe that the role of the AIPP can be achieved when members follow the instructions of the Tribunal.
