Prior to the couple’s arrival in Cyprus, the ceremony event should be organized and booked with the Local Municipality Officer who will be dealing with your wedding plan. The officer will send you the necessary details such as venues photos, or outdoors venues photos and the relevant cost for each booking.
The couple must arrive in Cyprus at least 3 working days before the ceremony and bring with them their original birth certificates, divorce order (if applicable), certificate of death (if widow) and any other documents requested by the local Municipality which are according to the nationality of the couple.
The original documents must be in English or officially translated in English or Greek. During the ceremony, two witnesses will be needed from the couple the details of whom will be notified from before to the Municipality.
